things I learned this week: aug 13
I could never commit myself to write substantially on a regular basis, so I'm starting out small. Here's what I learned this past week (I hope to be doing this more often):
- Conway’s Law [1]
- Hong Kong's fascinating history
- Software design lore, including Bret Victor (and Dynamicland) as well as Alan Kay [2]
- How to lead without authority (yet to be applied) [3]
- Epiphany: I'd like to settle down in a house somewhere near Oakland hills or some mountain in Kansai ⛰
Thanks for reading.
